We offer boat and waverunner rental on Houghton Lake, Michigan. All boat leasing is at the American Oak Resort office located at 112 Jefferson across the street from the units. If you are leasing a condo, you make take your leased watercraft and park in the designated spot for your unit on the dock.

We have plenty of boat rental choices, from 20 or 24 foot long pontoon boats, waverunners, two man fishing boats with 6 or 8 horsepower motors and a 18 foot ski-boat. Our boat rental is a daily rate with an additional charge for gas and oil. Pets and grills are not allowed on boats.

Boat Rental Rates and Hours are as follows:

All boats are an 8 hour rental between the hours of 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.

*Hours of rentals for resort guests can be modified to meet specific needs with guest only extended hours being available by pre-arrangement*

20 foot Harris Pontoon Boat 25 HP $175.00 per day
20 foot Sweetwater Pontoon Boat 75 HP $225.00 per day
24 foot Crest Pontoon Boat 90 HP $250.00 per day
Deluxe 24 foot Crest Savannah Pontoon Boat 75 HP $300.00 per day

18 foot SeaRay Ski Boat Sea Ray 8 Passenger $395.00 per day 175 HP V6 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., or $100.00 per hour, Min 2HR

Pontoon Boats with 75 or 90 HP are additional $100.00 per day if pulling a tube plus $25.00 for tube rental. You can pull one tube only. The tube must be a tube rented from American Oak Resort, NO EXCEPTIONS.

Contract will end without refund and boat will be returned if found with pets, grills or tubes not paid for at time of booking.




Waverunner Rental Yamaha 4-Stroke 3 passenger $90-100 per hour
Riders with birthdates after 1978 require a Boater's Safety Certificate,
birthdates prior to 1978 require a valid driver's license.

Fishing Boats $60.00 per day 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Ski Tubes/Skis/Knee Boards $25.00 per day


GAS AND OIL EXTRA ON ALL RENTALS

$500.00 SECURITY DEPOSIT REQUIRED FOR ALL RENTALS 72 Hour cancellation required. We reserve the right to refuse a watercraft rental for reasons we deem necessary for the saftey of all and the protection of our equipment. Alcohol, rude/obscene behavior etc. Refunds will be at our discretion and deposits will be held in the event ANY damage occurs until the extent of the damage is known. In the event of foul weather the cancellation will be at our discression. In some instances we may have to substitute equipment due to a mechanical problem caused by a previous renter or our need to perform maintenance and repairs.
