Here at American Oak Resort in Houghton Lake, Michigan we want to provide you a calming, comfortable rental cabin or chalet to relax in while offering the latest upgrades possible in our constantly changing world. We continuously are upgrading our rental cabins with the latest available technology as well as renovations when needed. American Oak Resort is the leasing agent for 10 of the 11 units we own of the American Oak Condo Association.

Our rental cabins are rustic, with pine walls, oak cabinetry and tiled kitchens and bathrooms. The rental cabin and chalet bathrooms feature full size tub/shower enclosures making baths for children easy. Our chalets are more modern, with drywall throughout, lofted ceilings and ceramic tiled kitchens and bathrooms. Our latest cabin upgrades include large flat screen high definition televisions in the living room with extended basic cable, and we always offer free wi-fi to our guests. We have finished building our outdoor movie theatre where children can watch movies under the stars in the great outdoors, just outside their cabin, view work in progress. All leasing is handled at the American Oak Resort Leasing Office located at 112 Jefferson, on the opposite side of the street from the Cabins and Chalets.
